Meet Grace King

Grace is a registered Relationship Counsellor with COSRT and an individual member of BACP. Her modality is Integrative, which means that she uses knowledge and skills from different counselling theories to tailor her approach to the needs of clients.

Grace has a Masters Degree in Contemporary Relationship Studies where she learned the importance of understanding how the systems we are in shape how we think and form attachments to one another.

Grace has nearly three years of experience practicing as a counsellor for individuals, couples, families and wellbeing groups, acquiring over two hundred voluntary supervised practice hours.

Grace values the unique experiences of others, aiming to create a safe space for vulnerability, connection and curiosity.

Grace believes healing has many different stages and sequences, therefore she finds it useful to collaborate with clients on how to work towards their goals.

Grace is a level 2 qualified Reiki Practitioner. By attuning to your energy body with Reiki while remaining in a psychotherapeutic context, Grace is able to be curious about any energetic blockages or shifts that she notices within you, and collaborate ways to increase your own self-awareness and self-compassion.

Grace regularly finds opportunities to self-develop and be curious about her thinking. An example of this is travelling abroad with a group to learn about culture and faith, while also contributing to existing communities.
